- Assist in setting up and conducting psychological experiments, including preparation of materials and equipment.
- Monitor students duringexperiments, assessments, and lab activities.
- Collect, record, and manage experimental data using Microsoft Office tools.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, including routine calibration, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to ethicalguidelines and institutional research protocols (including IRB compliance).
- Provide administrative and research support to faculty and students.
- Participate in lab meetings, maintain records, and document proceedings as required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail, especially in data handling and documentation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work bothindependently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degreein a Social Science discipline (preferably Psychology or a related field).
Qualified Certifications
- Certification in research methodology or psychological testing (preferred but not mandatory).
- Knowledge of statistical tools(SPSS, R, or Python) willbe an added advantage.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in a psychology lab, research setting, or academic institution (freshers with relevant academic exposure may apply).
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of psychological research methods and experimental design.
- Data management and record-keeping skills.
- Familiarity withethical standards in human subject research.
