Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior Linux System Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. This role is ideal for someone with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience managing Linux-based environments, who is eager to grow their skills in server administration, automation, and system security

Roles and Responsiblities:

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
- Perform routine maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, availability, and review security logs.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and server-side storage.
- Configure web servers like Apache and NGINX, and manage databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Manage firewall and security tools, including iptables, SELinux, and fail2ban.
- Automate tasks using shell scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible,



Puppet).
- Ensure disaster recovery readiness and implement high-availability systems.
- Troubleshoot incidents, outages, and performance bottlenecks effectively.
- Document all processes, configurations, changes, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to assist in deployments and system integrations.
- Robust knowledge of network protocols: DNS, HTTP, SSH, FTP, SMTP.
- Solid problem-solving skills with effective diagnostic and debugging techniques.
- Proficiency in WHM and cPanel management at an advanced level.
- Experience with CMS platforms, especially WordPress and similar systems.
- Cloud management experience, particularly with AWS (preferred).

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or pursuing).

- Certifications like RHCSA or AWS Cloud Practitioner are a plus.
