Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java and related frameworks.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support warehouse management, transportation, and supply chain platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver business-driven solutions.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code while following software development best practices.
- Optimize application performance, database interactions, and backend services for improved efficiency.
- Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems to streamline logistics operations.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure maximum application uptime.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and deployment procedures.
- Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with organizational coding standards.
- Support software deployment, maintenance, and continuous enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Java application development, preferably in enterprise software, logistics, or supply chain technology.
- Certifications (Preferred): Oracle Certified Skilled (Java), Spring Framework Certification,



AWS/Azure Fundamentals, or other relevant software development certifications.

Skills

- Strong proficiency in Java, Core Java, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development
- Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Hibernate, JPA, and database optimization techniques
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture and API integrations
- Proficiency in Git, Maven, and version control systems
- Understanding of software design patterns, debugging, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management abilities

Additional information

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

This is a full-time, on-site role based at AWL India's Delhi office within the IT department. The selected candidate will work on innovative digital solutions that enhance warehousing, transportation, and supply chain operations while collaborating with experienced technology professionals. Training on AWL India's platforms, development standards, and business processes will be provided, with opportunities to grow into senior development, technical lead, or solution architecture roles.
