Biitcode is looking for an experienced Design Engineer (CATIA) – Cable Drag Chain Division to join our engineering team. If you have robust expertise in CATIA V5, mechanical design, product development, and cable drag chain design, we'd love to hear from you!

Experience

- 3–8 Years in Mechanical Design Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in CATIA V5
- Experience in Cable Drag Chains, Machine Components, Industrial Automation, or Machine Tool Accessories
- Exposure to New Product Development (NPD) and OEM customization

Key Responsibilities





- Design and develop plastic and steel cable drag chains using CATIA V5
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings
- Design guide troughs, brackets, and mounting accessories
- Develop customized cable management solutions for OEM customers
- Coordinate with Production, Tooling, Quality, Purchase, and Application Engineering teams
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation
- Implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECN)
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, strength, and performance
- Prepare accurate BOMs and engineering documentation
- Provide technical support to Sales and Application Engineering teams

Qualification

- BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- CATIA V5 Certification (Preferred)
