Diploma / B.Sc. degree from an accredited college or university in Chemical or Environmental Engineering / Chemistry or equivalent Science degree.
Experience/ Exposure :
3+ years of working experience in water treatment field at chemical / Pharmaceutical industries.
Role & Responsibilities: (Key accountability areas)
- Operation of Zero Liquid Discharge Plant (Extended Aeration System, MBR, RO, MEE, & ATFD).
- Sampling and testing wastewater (COD, BOD, TSS, TDS, DO, etc.,).
- Optimization of chemical dosing by doing Jar testing.
- Ensure the safety policies and work permit during all work.
- Ensure that the best operational practices and SOP discipline is followed and maintained in the Department.
- Understanding of the machinery used for wastewater treatment plant.
- Ability to diagnose and correct wastewater treatment plant malfunctions.
Key Technical Skills
- ZLD (MEE, ATFD, RO, & MBR) operation & trouble shooting.
- Adhering to the Pollution control Board norms.
- PLC/ SCADA operation
