3 AND 5-Axis VMC Operator / Machinist

Machine: DMG MORI-5 axis, DMG MORI-3 AXIS

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operations

- Operate 3 AXIS OR 5-Axis VMC (DMG MORI) machines efficiently.
- Handle machine functions including:
- Program running (PROB)
- Offset setting (OTS)
- Automatic Tool Changer (ATC)
- Perform machine setup, job loading, and alignment.
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments.

Production & Quality Control

- Achieve daily production targets with minimal rejection.
- Ensure components meet drawing specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain required surface finish and dimensional accuracy.

Tooling & Parameters

- Select and install appropriate cutting tools.
- Set and adjust machining parameters:
- RPM (Spindle Speed)
- Feed Rate




- Tool offsets and machine settings
- Monitor tool performance and replace worn tools.

Measurement & Inspection

- Perform in-process and final inspections using:
- Micrometer
- Vernier Caliper
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Ensure accuracy as per engineering drawings.

Maintenance & Safety

- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Follow 5S standards and shop floor discipline.
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Relevant CNC/VMC certification (preferred)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
