Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer – zOS (Mainframe Developer) with solid expertise in COBOL development and IBM Mainframe technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting business-critical applications running on z/OS platforms. The role involves working closely with business analysts, system architects, and support teams to deliver reliable and high-performing mainframe solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL .
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support application enhancements, bug fixes, and production deployments.
Develop and maintain batch processing programs and online transaction systems.
Perform impact analysis and code reviews for application changes.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Develop interfaces between mainframe and distributed systems.
Create and execute unit test cases to ensure application quality.
Participate in application modernization and migration initiatives.
Prepare technical documentation and maintain coding standards.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile and Waterfall environments.
