Job Details

What you will do:

- Responsible for the development of existing and new products or systems, using a variety of programming methods including C# .Net to meet specifications and functional requirements
- Work with stakeholders on all aspect of the software development cycle (Requirements/Scope definition, Development, Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing, Implementation and Support)
- Contribute to the architectural direction of the products and systems
- Improve application performance and quality
- Estimate development tasks and deliver projects on schedule
- Develop auxiliary programs and services to connect applications
- Responsible for technical documentation

Experience:

- Ecommerce Platform with High Traffic
- .Net (VB / C#) Development, MVC, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server Database, Triggers, Stored Procedures
- Front End Development nice to have: HTML, CSS, Javascript
- API Integration, .Net Web Services (WCF, and ASMX)
- Version Control: Github, BitBucket, TFS




- Knowledge of optimized web server configurations (IIS) and scaling applications (AWS, Azure)
- Agile methodologies such as Scrum with focus on Continuous Integration and Deployment
- Positive understanding of data architecture concepts
- Software documentation (Confluence)
- Project Management (Jira)
- Excellent communication skills, attention to details and strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge on Azure services like Service Bus and App service
- Strong experience with microservices architectures, including service decomposition, inter service communication, event driven patterns, and distributed systems design

Plus:

- Experience with other scripting and programming languages (PHP, Java, C, Python, etc) a plus
- Business Intelligence a plus (Power BI, Domo, Tableau), Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)

Education:

- B.S in Computer Engineering or Equivalent work experience
- Minimum 8 years of .Net experience
