Job Title: Construction Manager Electrical (Substation / Oil & Gas)

Interview Location: Chennai

Work Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: 12-18 years

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the construction and installation of electrical systems for HV/MV substations, switchyards, and oil & gas facilities.
- Manage and coordinate daily construction activities at the site including subcontractor supervision, labor planning, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE), and oil & gas industry standards (e.g., API, ASME).
- Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control wiring drawings.
- Monitor the installation of transformers, GIS/AIS systems, switchgear, cabling, protection & control panels.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, QA/QC,



and commissioning teams.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues in office.
- Ensure timely project completion while controlling cost and scope.
- Conduct regular inspections, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
- Track project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and third-party inspectors.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12+ years of construction management experience, with at least 4 years in electrical substation or oil & gas projects.
