Responsible for ensuring the quality of MS steel structure fabrication, welding, painting, and erection activities in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect incoming materials and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
- Monitor fabrication, fit-up, welding, and dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct visual inspections and coordinate NDT activities (UT, MT, PT, RT).
- Inspect surface preparation, painting, and Dry Film Thickness (DFT).
- Verify erection quality, alignment, bolt tightening, and structural tolerances.
- Prepare and maintain quality documents such as ITPs, inspection reports, NCRs, and quality dossiers.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, ISO 9001, IS 800, AWS D1.1, and other applicable standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams during inspections and quality audits.




- Identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical quality assurance or quality control (entry-level positions may require less).
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
- experience in structural steel fabrication and QA/QC.

Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
