PD - Product Design Engineer

Key Qualifications

Essential Skills or Experiences:

- Bachelor’s degree in product design or mechanical engineering is required.
- 10+ years’ experience in product design (preferably consumer electronic products i.e. Handheld/portable device)
- Proficient in written English (95%@work) and experience collaborate with overseas clients.
- Solid work ethic with a high degree of flexibility to collaborate with both EMS and Foxconn’s PD engineer and cross function team.




- Comfort working in a quickly changing environment within product development phases and builds.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with process management design for electronic assembly and handheld tool design.

Preferred (or what we offer for training):

- Proven ability in 3D CAD modeling systems and workflow, UG NX or Solidworks fluency desirable.
- understanding knowledge of mechanical design principles, including GD&T;, materials and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Working with Labs and knowing the equipment to resolve issues.

- BS/MS in product/industrial design or mechanical engineering related fields.
- BE/BTECH.
