Job Summary

Our Team is seeking a dedicated and skilled CCTV & Network Field Technician to install, configure, commission, and maintain IP-based camera systems across client locations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with camera installation, network connectivity, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support while ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and mount IP cameras at client sites.
- Perform cable laying, conduit work, and proper cable management.
- Install, configure, and commission edge computing devices and networking equipment.
- Configure and verify LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity for surveillance systems.
- Connect and test devices to ensure successful communication with the cloud platform.
- Perform system testing and quality checks before project handover.
- Troubleshoot hardware, networking, internet, and power-related issues.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and service visits as assigned.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Technical Support teams during installation and commissioning.
- Maintain accurate installation reports, service reports, and daily work updates.
- Ensure all installations comply with HIFY's quality, safety, and installation standards.
- Handle company tools and equipment responsibly.
- Travel across Mumbai and nearby locations for installation, maintenance, and support activities.

Required Skills

- Experience in installing and configuring IP camera systems.
- Good understanding of computer networks, including LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, and internet connectivity.
- Experience with Ethernet cable laying, RJ45 termination, and network testing.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware,



networking, and connectivity issues.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and power distribution for surveillance equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently at client sites with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, Networking, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation, networking, or field technical support.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and practical skills may also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with IP-based surveillance systems.
- Basic knowledge of Linux or embedded computing devices is an advantage.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai.

Working Conditions

- Field-based role requiring daily travel across Mumbai.
- Work at indoor and outdoor client locations.
- Ability to work on ladders and at heights for camera installation.
- Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours when required to meet project deadlines.
- The technician must carry a laptop and RJ45 crimping tool while attending site installations and service visits.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely completion of installations and service assignments.
- Successful commissioning of surveillance systems with minimal rework.
- High-quality installation standards and proper documentation.
- Prompt resolution of service requests and technical issues.
- Compliance with HIFY's safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
