Purpose of the Role

To ensure accurate tracking and control of all inventory movements, including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, and job work items, while maintaining stock accuracy and supporting smooth production and sales operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesStock Management

- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure proper coding, tagging, and classification of inventory items.
- Track movement of stock between warehouse, production, and showroom.

Job Work & Production Control

- Issue materials to embroiderers, dyers, printers, and tailors against proper documentation.
- Maintain records of materials sent and received from job workers.
- Track work-in-progress inventory at every production stage.
- Follow up on delayed job work and pending deliveries.

Physical Verification & Audits

- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
- Assist during internal and external audits.

Inventory Reporting

- Prepare inventory movement reports.
- Generate stock ageing reports.




- Identify slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
- Provide management with stock status and variance reports.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain inventory registers, challans, and transfer records.
- Ensure proper documentation for all stock movements.
- Coordinate with accounts for stock valuation and reconciliation.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures.
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with inventory software/ERP/Tally.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive follow-up and coordination skills.
- Experience in garments, textiles, retail, or manufacturing preferred.

Pay: ₹9,999.78 - ₹21,000.00 per month
