Job Description:

To ensure uninterrupted statutory, financial, and administrative compliance for mining operations by managing permits, statutory payments, documentation, vendor processing, and liaison with regulatory authorities, particularly the District Mining Office (DMO).

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor, obtain approval, and manage extensions of all e?permits from the DMO.
- Maintain and reconcile records of statutory dues and payments, including Royalty, DMFT, NMET, TCS, Management Fee, Dead Rent, Surface Rent, and JMBL Cess.
- Ensure timely payment processing and compliance reporting to statutory bodies.
- Maintain proper documentation, records, and official correspondence related to mining operations.
- Raise purchase requisitions, process vendor bills, and coordinate for timely payments.
- Liaise regularly with the DMO and other regulatory offices for approvals, compliance, and audits.
- Support internal and external audits through accurate data and record availability

- Maintain audit?ready records and accurate reporting to enhance regulatory confidence and organizational credibility.
- Support seamless business continuity by proactively managing compliance risks and transition planning.

- Ensure timely processing and payment of all statutory dues (Royalty, DMFT, NMET, TCS, Dead Rent, Surface Rent, JMBL Cess) to avoid interest, penalties, and cash leakage.
- Improve cash flow efficiency by accurate forecasting and scheduling of statutory payments and renewals.
- Prevent cash losses due to operational stoppages by ensuring uninterrupted availability of e?permits and regulatory approvals.
- Control working capital by timely vendor bill processing, avoiding backlog, duplicate payments, or escalation costs.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of payments and dues to prevent excess payments, disputes, or recovery delays.

Customer

- Ensure uninterrupted supply of bauxite to internal customers by timely availability of e?permits and statutory clearances.
- Enable adherence to dispatch schedules by proactive coordination with DMO offices and field teams.
- Minimize delays, rejections, or customer escalations arising from permit lapses, documentation gaps, or statutory non?compliance.
- Support customer satisfaction by ensuring compliance?driven continuity of mining and logistics operations.

Sustainability

- Support sustainable resource utilization through effective monitoring of ore dispatch, royalty payments, and statutory reporting.
- Maintain transparent records of environmental?linked statutory payments (DMFT, NMET, etc.).
- Contribute to long?term operational continuity by ensuring uninterrupted permit availability and regulatory goodwill.

Safety

- Ensure all statutory documentation, permits, and approvals are valid to prevent unsafe or unauthorized mining operations.
- Promote disciplined work practices through timely approvals and documentation to reduce operational and legal risks.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure dispatches and operations align with approved permits and plans.

People development and engagement

- Monitoring intake and deployment of physically fit and appropriately trained contractual workforce and ensuring their continuous training and wellbeing as per company guidelines.
