We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Testing Engineer or Diploma in Mechanical with hands-on expertise in operating Testing machines to join our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratory. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in mechanical testing, quality assurance, and compliance with international standards. This role involves conducting various mechanical tests, analysing results, and ensuring that all procedures adhere to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical testing of products in accordance with IS standards.
- Operate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Analyse test data, identify deviations, and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Troubleshoot testing processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure proper calibration of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a mechanical testing laboratory accredited under ISO/IEC 17025.
- Familiarity with testing standards for mechanical products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data accurately.
- Proficiency in using mechanical testing equipment and tools.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with teams.
