Job Description: HR Executive

Job Summary:
The HR Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day human resource functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, payroll processing, compliance, and performance management. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive work culture, aligning HR policies with organizational goals, and ensuring effective workforce management in a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for technical, non-technical, and site-based roles.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals, campus recruitment, and referrals.
- Conduct initial screening, schedule interviews, and coordinate onboarding processes.
2. Employee Engagement and Relations:
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
- Address employee grievances and provide resolutions in alignment with company policies.
- Foster a positive work environment to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
3. Payroll and Attendance Management:
- Ensure accurate payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.).
- Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and timesheets for project teams.
4. Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and update employee records, contracts, and HR-related documentation.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
5. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs for employees and coordinate training programs.
- Assist in creating and implementing career development plans.
6. Performance Management:
- Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems.
- Track employee performance and coordinate with department heads to manage KPIs and KRAs.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
7. HR Policy Implementation:
- Support the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all employees adhere to organizational policies and guidelines.
8. Site HR Coordination:
- Liaise with site teams to address specific HR requirements and challenges.
- Conduct periodic site visits to ensure smooth HR operations at project locations.
Qualifications and Skills:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in HR, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
Key Skills:
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of labor laws, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office tools.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Time taken to close job vacancies.
- Employee retention rate.
- Timely payroll processing and compliance.
- Effectiveness of employee engagement activities.
- Completion of performance appraisals within deadlines.
This role is integral to managing and enhancing the workforce in a construction company, ensuring smooth HR operations, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
