Position: F&B; Guest Service Associate
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / F&B; Manager

Role Overview

The F&B; Guest Service Associate is responsible for delivering warm, efficient, and professional guest service in the restaurant, café, banquets, or in-room dining area. The role ensures guest satisfaction through prompt service, product knowledge, and maintaining hygiene and service standards

Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Operations

- Greet guests warmly and escort them to assigned tables
- Present menus, assist guests in menu selection, and provide product recommendations
- Take accurate food & beverage orders and ensure timely service
- Ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, and maintained throughout service
- Address guest queries, complaints, and requests courteously
- Ensure guest satisfaction and promote repeat business

Service Standards & Hygiene

- Follow SOPs for food handling, service, and safety
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, workstations, and cutlery/glassware
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and hotel hygiene standards

Coordination & Support





- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth order flow
- Assist in buffet setup, banquet support, and special event operations
- Help with inventory management and requisitions when necessary

Sales & Upselling

- Promote daily specials, combos, and signature dishes
- Suggestive selling to enhance guest experience and revenue

Skills & Competencies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pleasant personality with solid customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage service styles
- Team player with a positive attitude

Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in F&B; service (freshers may also apply)
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,832.81 - ₹15,500.00 per month
