Job Summary

CADCENTER Indian Educational Enterprises (P) Ltd., one of India's leading CAD/CAM/CAE/BIM training organizations with over 37 years of excellence, is seeking a passionate and experienced CAD Engineer / Technical Lead Faculty – Civil Engineering to train engineering students and working professionals in industry-standard CAD, BIM, and Civil Engineering software.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring. In addition to delivering technical training, the candidate will also contribute to curriculum development, project mentoring, academic quality, and technical support for the centre.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Training

· Deliver classroom and online training on Civil Engineering CAD & BIM software.

· Conduct practical, hands-on sessions using real-time engineering projects.

· Explain engineering concepts with practical industrial applications.

· Ensure students develop job-ready technical skills.

· Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and revision classes.

· Evaluate assignments, projects, and assessments.

Software Training

Train students in one or more of the following:

AutoCAD

· AutoCAD 2D

· AutoCAD 3D

Autodesk Civil Engineering Solutions

· Civil 3D

· Revit Architecture

· Revit Structure

· Revit MEP (Basic Understanding)

· Navisworks

· BIM Collaborate (Preferred)

Structural Software

· STAAD.Pro

· ETABS

· SAFE

· Tekla Structures (Preferred)

Quantity Surveying Software

· Planswift

· CostX (Preferred)

· Microsoft Excel for BOQ

Project Management

· Microsoft Project

Academic Responsibilities

· Prepare lesson plans.

· Develop training materials.

· Update course content based on industry trends.

· Maintain attendance and student progress records.

· Conduct weekly assessments.

· Evaluate projects and presentations.

· Guide students for certifications.





· Assist students in portfolio preparation.

Technical Lead Responsibilities

· Lead the Civil Engineering training division.

· Ensure quality delivery of all Civil Engineering courses.

· Mentor junior trainers and technical staff.

· Standardize teaching methodologies.

· Maintain laboratory infrastructure.

· Coordinate software installation and updates.

· Ensure compliance with Autodesk and other certification standards.

· Introduce new technologies into the curriculum.

Student Development

· Mentor students individually.

· Identify learning gaps and provide additional support.

· Conduct technical workshops.

· Organize webinars and seminars.

· Guide final-year projects.

· Prepare students for interviews.

· Conduct mock technical interviews.

Placement & Industry Interaction

· Support placement activities.

· Coordinate with recruiters.

· Conduct employability skill sessions.

· Assist students in resume preparation.

· Build industry connections for internships and placements.

Business & Centre Support

· Support admission counseling by explaining technical courses.

· Participate in seminars, workshops, and educational events.

· Represent CADCENTER at colleges and technical institutions.

· Assist in promotional technical sessions.

· Provide technical demonstrations during walk-in inquiries.

Documentation & Administration

· Maintain student records.

· Prepare batch reports.

· Track course completion.

· Maintain software licenses.

· Generate technical reports.

· Coordinate certification processes.

Required QualificationsEducation

· B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

Preferred

· M.Tech in Structural Engineering

· M.Tech in Construction Management

· M.Tech in Transportation Engineering

· M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering

Experience

· 2–8 years of experience in CAD/BIM training, design consultancy, or construction projects.

· Freshers with excellent software knowledge and strong teaching aptitude may also apply.
