Manager – Engineering

Location: Mumbai
Experience: 6–8 Years

We are looking for a hands-on Manager – Engineering with a mandatory background in an IT Services/IT Consulting organization. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, client-facing experience, and proven leadership in delivering enterprise software solutions for global customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end engineering delivery for enterprise applications and technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Drive modernization of legacy applications to cloud-native, scalable architectures.
- Provide technical leadership across Backend, Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Platform Engineering teams.
- Review system architecture, APIs, databases, code quality, and production support processes.
- Promote AI-assisted engineering, automation, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Mandatory Requirements

- 8 years of software engineering experience.




- Must currently be working or have worked in an IT Services/IT Consulting company.
- Minimum 2 years of client-facing experience involving requirement gathering, stakeholder management, solution discussions, and delivery.
- Solid hands-on experience in Python along with modern backend technologies.
- Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and production support.
- Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating across multiple functions.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools, automation, and modern engineering practices.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalable architecture, and enterprise application development.

Note: Candidates with experience only in product-based organizations or startups without IT services/client delivery exposure may not be considered.

Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
