One of the largest growing Real Estate company of North India looking for QS & Billing Engineer.
The Quantity Surveyor & Billing Engineer will manage cost control, measurement, estimation, contract billing, and commercial administration across multiple project types including high-rise residential, commercial developments, and townships. The role ensures timely, accurate measurement and billing, value-for-money procurement, change-order management, and commercial risk mitigation to support project profitability and compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measurement & Billing
- Prepare, verify, and submit monthly contractor bills, interim certificates, and final accounts across multiple projects.
- Carry out site measurements and quantify work executed (BOQ, drawings, site records).
- Maintain measurement records, photographs, and supporting documentation for billing and audit.
- Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ), and material take-offs for tendering and variation assessment.
- Produce rate analysis and unit rates for work items; benchmark against historical data and market rates.
- Assist in preparing budget estimates and cash-flow projections for current and ongoing projects.
- Contract & Commercial Management
- Review contract terms, scope, and commercial clauses; advise project teams on contractual implications.
- Manage variations/claims, prepare change order documentation, and negotiate settlements with contractors/subcontractors.
- Monitor contractual timelines and liaison with legal/contract teams for dispute resolution.
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Support procurement with cost comparison, vendor rate analysis,
and evaluation of subcontractor quotations.
- Verify supplier invoices, reconciliation with delivery notes and project records.
- Cost Control & Reporting
- Track project costs against budgets; prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and trend analysis.
- Identify cost overruns, propose corrective actions, and support value engineering initiatives.
- Ensure timely submission of cost reports and billing status to senior management.
- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure measurement and billing practices comply with company standards, contract terms, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain an audit-ready filing system for all commercial documents, bills, agreements, and approvals.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Attend site meetings, client/consultant meetings, and commercial review meetings when required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- 4–8 years’ experience in quantity surveying, billing, and commercial management in real estate/construction projects; experience across high-rise, commercial, and township projects preferred.
- Proven experience preparing interim bills,
final accounts, and handling contract variations and claims.
- Familiarity with Indian standard measurement practices (DPR/PWD/CPWD/IS codes as applicable) and contract forms (lump-sum, measured-term, item-rate).
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Excel (advanced), MS Word; familiarity with billing/ERP tools (Tally, SAP, Primavera, MS Project, or construction-specific software) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and workmanship standards.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.

- Reduction in billing disputes/queries and days to resolve.
- Variance between budgeted vs actual costs (target thresholds as per company norms).
- Speed and accuracy in finalizing change orders/variation claims.
- Audit compliance and completeness of commercial documentation.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
