About the Role

Are you passionate about bringing 3D worlds and characters to life? We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Blender Artist Intern to join our creative team.

In this role, you’ll get hands-on experience working on exciting 3D projects, honing your skills in 3D animation, world-building, and artistic lighting. If you live and breathe Blender and love visual storytelling, we’d love to see your work!

Key Responsibilities

- 3D Animation: Create fluid, realistic, or stylized 3D animations for characters, assets, and cameras within Blender.
- Lighting & LookDev: Craft mood, atmosphere, and depth in 3D environments using advanced environment lighting (cycles/EEVEE, HDRI, volumetric lighting, and rim/key/fill setups).
- Scene Composition: Block out, assemble, and detail 3D environments to support narrative and aesthetic goals.
- Rendering & Optimization: Optimize 3D assets and render setups for effective workflow without compromising visual quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior artists and directors to incorporate feedback and iterate on designs.





Requirements & Qualifications

- Blender Expertise: Strong proficiency in Blender (modeling, texturing, animation, and lighting pipelines).
- Animation Fundamentals: Understanding of timing, spacing, weight, and keyframe animation principles.
- Lighting Skills: Good eye for composition, color theory, shadow, and atmospheric environment lighting.
- Portfolio / Demo Reel: A portfolio or showcase reel highlighting your 3D animation and environment/lighting work (mandatory).
- Mindset: Eager to learn, open to creative direction, and proactive in solving visual/technical challenges.

Bonus Points For:

- Basic knowledge of compositing or video editing software.
- Familiarity with texturing tools like Substance Painter or Photoshop.
- Experience with geometry nodes or rigging in Blender.
