Job Summary

We are a Punjabi entertainment company running:

- A Punjabi podcast YouTube channel
- An event company for Punjabi shows
- Facebook community groups (Punjabi diaspora)

We need a remote Social Media & Growth Manager based in India to handle daily content distribution, community engagement, paid ads (Meta), and audience growth across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and potentially TikTok/WhatsApp.

Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Management (Podcast & Events)

- Post pre-edited videos (supplied by editor) to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.
- Cut short-form reels/shorts from long-form podcast episodes (using mobile apps like CapCut or desktop like Premiere Rush).
- Write captions in Punjabi + English (using Gurmukhi script + Roman Punjabi).
- Schedule posts for optimal times (Australian evening + Indian daytime).

2. Community Growth & Engagement

- Actively reply to comments on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram within 2 hours during work shift.
- Post daily in Facebook community groups (discussion prompts, behind-the-scenes, event reminders).
- Grow the podcast channel’s subscribers and event page followers via organic engagement.

3. Meta Paid Promotions (Ads Manager)

- Create, run, and optimize paid campaigns for:
- Podcast episodes (boost views/subscribers)




- Punjabi events in Australia (ticket sales)
- Other business promotions (e.g., sponsors, merchandise)
- Budget management: Daily spend tracking, ROI reporting.
- Target Australian Punjabi audience (age 25–50, interests: Bhangra, Punjabi music, community events).

4. Performance Tracking

- Weekly report on:
- YouTube views, subs, watch time
- Facebook/Instagram reach, engagement rate
- Ad spend vs. ticket sales/views
- Community group growth (members, posts reach)
