The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ledger Management: Manage accounts payable/receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger.
- Budgeting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and monitor variances.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification: Professional certification is often preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Robust command of accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
