Role Overview

As Senior Web AI Lead, you will be the primary technical contributor for web platforms and AI integration initiatives. You will work hands-on — designing architecture, writing and reviewing code, integrating LLM-powered systems, and implementing the MCP connector patterns that connect our tools and workflows.

You will collaborate closely with the Web Team Project Manager, internal developers, and the external web team. There is no line management responsibility in this role. Your value is in technical depth, architectural clarity, and the ability to ship reliable, intelligent systems.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Architecture & Development

- Own the technical architecture for web platforms and AI integration systems
- Write, review, and maintain production code across the full stack — frontend (React/Node or equivalent) and backend
- Establish and enforce technical standards, code quality practices, and documentation
- Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and AI capabilities aligned to business needs

AI Integration & Agent Development

- Design and implement LLM-powered features including AI agents, automation workflows, and content pipelines
- Build and maintain agent frameworks using LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent tooling
- Implement and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector patterns to link internal tools and data systems
- Develop APIs that connect AI services to frontend applications and internal platforms
- Implement monitoring, traceability, and performance metrics for deployed AI systems

Web Development & Infrastructure

- Build scalable backend services and RESTful/GraphQL APIs
- Deploy and manage infrastructure using containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Oversee technical execution across web projects delivered by internal and external contributors
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases that allow the team to operate and iterate independently

Collaboration & Coordination

- Partner with Web Team Project Manager to translate business requirements into technical plans
- Work directly with internal developers to align on implementation and standards
- Coordinate with external team members on delivery and review cycles
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of our build processes





Educational Background

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline

A master’s degree or postgraduate diploma in AI, Data Science, or Software Engineering is advantageous. Candidates with equivalent demonstrable experience in lieu of formal qualifications will be considered where the technical skills profile is strong.

Technical Skills & Stack

Core Stack (required):

- Full-stack web development — React (frontend), Node.js or equivalent (backend)
- LLM integration — hands-on experience with OpenAI, Claude (Anthropic), or open-source models
- Agent frameworks — LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent orchestration tooling
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector patterns — building or consuming MCP servers to connect tools, data, and LLMs
- Backend API development — REST and/or GraphQL
- Cloud platforms — AWS or Azure (deployment, scaling, model hosting)
- Containerisation and orchestration — Docker, Kubernetes

Advantageous:

- Vector databases and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
- AI observability tools — traceability, explainability, performance dashboards
- MLOps and AI deployment pipelines
- Experience with automation-first systems and workflow integration platforms
- Certifications in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or ML engineering

Skills & Attributes

- 5–8 years of hands-on, full-stack web and AI integration experience — breadth and depth both matter
- Strong ownership instinct — this role requires self-directed technical decision-making, not instruction-following
- Ability to work alongside (not above) a project manager, an external team, and internal developers — collaborative peer, not a hierarchy
- Clear written and verbal communication in English — able to document decisions and align stakeholders without technical jargon




- Proficient with development tooling: Git, CI/CD pipelines, code review workflows, and modern IDEs
- Strong problem-solving skills; able to debug across the stack and resolve ambiguity in requirements
- Adaptable to evolving product priorities, tooling changes, and rapid iteration cycles

Growth Path

1 Senior Web AI Lead

Months 1–12

Establish architecture standards, ship AI integrations, embed within the team structure. Own the technical stack end-to-end.

2 Lead Web AI Engineer

Year 2–3

Expand AI capabilities across company's full digital footprint. Shape tooling decisions and integration roadmap with Leo and Parker.

3 Head of Web & AI Products

Year 3–5

Own the product and technology vision for company's web and AI layer. Lead infrastructure planning and contribute to business strategy.

Additional Requirements

- Immediate or early joiners preferred
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Vadodara, Gujarat before starting
- This is a fully in office role — remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position
- Candidates must be comfortable operating within a structured, fast-paced dual-shift organisation with clear reporting lines
