Position: Secondary English Teacher

Location: Aaryans World School, Warje.

Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to teach students in Grades VI to X. The ideal candidate should possess solid subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment that fosters language development, critical thinking, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons as per the curriculum.
- Teach grammar, literature, reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and learning resources.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, presentations, creative writing, and literary activities.
- Provide remedial support and guidance to students when required.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, school events,



and academic activities.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in English or relevant subject.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- Master's Degree in English preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
