- Support FEA projects using ANSYS Workbench (Mechanical) & Design Modeler / SpaceClaim) as per customer requirements.
- Interface with customers and maintain regular project communications, building solid relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Obtain all necessary inputs for assessing components and sub-systems for stress, deformation, vibration and durability.
- Carry out thorough Input review.
- Understand and comprehend requirements and the operating environment of the component and systems.
- Perform linear and non-linear stress analysis, as well as modal analysis at the assembly level.
- Carry out analytical calculations using first principles / engineering fundamentals, perform sanity checks on analysis results, and create MS-excel based calculators if required.
- Interpret analysis results and provide appropriate design recommendations considering manufacturing, assembly and cost aspects. Resolve analysis related issues / convergence problems.
- Prepare clear and concise technical documentation and reports.
- Communicate effectively — develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Self-development - actively seek new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience Range: 1 to 2 Years in structural FEA
- Educational Qualification: BTech/BE or MTech/ME in Mechanical Engineering or allied field.
- Tool Knowledge: Good working knowledge of ANSYS Workbench (Mechanical) & Design Modeler/Space Claim and Meshing.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals (strength of materials, machine design, engineering mechanics, vibration, etc.)
- FEA Skills: Understanding of loads and boundary conditions, with experience in modal, static and assembly-level analysis.
- Good English Communication / soft skills.
