NGO Program Manager – West (Pune)
Location: West Region (Deputed to Ujjivan Regional Office - Pune)
About the Role
Parinaam Foundation is looking for an NGO Program Manager – West (Pune) to lead the end-to-end execution of its Community Development Programme (Chote Kadam) across the West region. The role also oversees the Financial Literacy Programme (Diksha+) in partnership with Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. This position requires extensive field engagement, stakeholder coordination, contractor management, and ownership of multiple projects from planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of community infrastructure projects, including planning, approvals, execution, handover, and documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, and project partners to ensure timely project completion within approved scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, resolve execution challenges, and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Maintain project documentation, BOQs, compliance records, budgets, and settlement documentation.
- Oversee implementation of the Financial Literacy Programme across the West region through Ujjivan's branch network.
- Coordinate trainer schedules, field sessions, and programme activities while identifying and resolving operational gaps.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, project trackers, risk registers, and periodic project updates.
- Liaise with government authorities, Ujjivan teams, contractors,
community representatives, volunteers, and internal stakeholders for smooth programme execution.
- Support community engagement initiatives and programme visibility activities across the region.
Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure project management, construction, social development, NGO programme management, or field operations.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, budgets, multiple concurrent projects, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of BOQs, construction drawings, project documentation, and infrastructure execution processes.
- Excellent project planning, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MIS reporting, and project tracking.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (minimum 50% field travel).
- Postgraduate degree (MBA/MSW/Development Studies) preferred. Background in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, or Construction Management is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory; Marathi or other regional language proficiency is preferred.

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
