- Fair Employment & Anti-Discrimination: Ensuring interview questions, job descriptions, and promotions do not discriminate based on race, gender, age, religion, or disability.
- Wage and Hour Compliance: Managing payroll correctly according to minimum wage and overtime laws, as well as correctly classifying workers as exempt or non-exempt.
- Workplace Health and Safety: Maintaining safe working conditions and handling worker accommodations or incident reporting according to safety standards.
- Employee Leaves & Benefits: Administering protected leaves (such as maternity or medical leaves) and managing health insurance or retirement benefits.
