Job Summary:

The On-the-Job Trainee (OJT) program at Gokulam Grand Turtle on the Beach, Kovalam offers aspiring hospitality students an chance to gain real-world experience in a 5-star luxury resort environment. Trainees will work closely with department teams, develop professional skills, and understand daily operations across their respective departments.

Departments Available:

- Front Office: Guest handling, check-in/check-out procedures, guest relations, and reservations support.
- Food & Beverage Service: Assisting in restaurant and banquet operations, table setup, guest service, and order management.
- Housekeeping: Room cleaning, maintenance of public areas, linen management, and guest amenities handling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the team in day-to-day departmental operations.
- Learn and follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through courtesy and professionalism.
- Support senior staff in various operational tasks.
- Maintain hygiene, grooming, and discipline standards.
- Participate in training sessions and departmental briefings.





Qualifications & Skills:

- Pursuing or completed Diploma in Hotel Management or BHM/BHMC (Degree in Hotel Management & Catering).
- Passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to work in shifts.
