Job Title: Production Engineer

Job Location: Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs to ensure accurate machining, improved cycle time, and consistent quality.
- Operate and provide technical support for VMC and HMC machines, including setup, tooling selection, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee assembly operations, ensuring adherence to process standards, drawings, and quality requirements.
- Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Operational Performance Percentage (OPP) for assembly and machining lines.
- Perform rejection and root cause analysis (RCA) using quality tools; implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce scrap and rework.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production targets on the shop floor.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as cycle time reduction, productivity improvement, and cost optimization.
- Maintain proper documentation related to machining programs, inspection reports, and production records.
- Train and guide operators on machining processes, quality standards, and best practices
