JOB FOR FES Cafe Key responsibilities Food preparation Assist in the preparation cooking and finishing of bakery items like breads Cookies and desserts following standard recipes and instructions from senior chefs Quality and presentation Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency Cleanliness and hygiene Maintain a clean and organized work station and kitchen adhering strictly to health safety and sanitation procedures Inventory management Assist in monitoring inventory levels checking stock rotation FIFO - First-In First-Out accepting deliveries and ordering supplies as needed Kitchen operations Help with daily and weekly procedures such as temperature checks food labeling and cleaning schedules Teamwork Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and support the overall kitchen brigade Equipment maintenance Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and in positive working order Required skills and qualifications Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is helpful but not always required especially for entry-level roles Strong knowledge of basic baking techniques ingredients and kitchen equipment mixers ovens etc Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately Commitment to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Internship Contractual Temporary Contract length 3 months Pay 20 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Flexible schedule Food provided Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
