pioneering wellness By embracing the Six Senses vision and values I will deliver an exceptional experience for guests and develop hosts to be the very best they can be Wellness I will fully embrace and safeguard the Wellness overall philosophy concepts and programs such as the Sleep with Six Senses Eat with Six Senses Grow with Six Senses Reconnection and Rituals and Mission Wellness All aspects of these wellness initiatives will be adopted and implemented throughout the operation Sustainability Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Six Senses I will ensure to follow all directives on environmental protection and preservation re-usage and minimum wastage purchasing and packaging such as the abolition of single-use plastic I will maintain a harmonious and sensitive approach to our environment and cultural surroundings Operational Ownership In this role I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of all wellness tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards I will assist to ensure that all set policies procedures best practices are in place and rigorously enforced A high standard of personal appearance grooming and hygiene plus comprehensive knowledge of safety security and emergency procedures will be maintained in line with brand and statutory requirements All activities within the department will be carried out ethically honestly and within the parameters of local law An important part of the role is to interact with guests and hosts in a professional courteous and positive manner and proactively seek feedback using guest name whenever possible I am responsible for an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure In the event of guest complaints I will effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of guests I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role Ayurveda lifestyle consultations Wellness consultations for guest Wellness operations crafting the itinerary wellness notes arrival and departure notes printing itinerary Custodian of guest wellness journey in Six Senses Vana during their entire stay guest interactions and ownership of their diet plans Operational responsibility of Ayurveda centre Training and development on Ayurveda therapies for therapist according to their needs and skills Wellness communications with guest pre-arrival and post departure Inform relevant essence of the wellness assessment form to concerned practitioner Facilitate activities as per Retreat Programs Enhance guest experience through constant research and development on flow of service and offering Analysis of individual departmental inventory and product usage for efficient cost control Maintain departmental leave calendar Marketing and Promotions I will market and promote Ayurveda treatments to guests and focus to improve projected revenue targets and promotional initiatives to drive sales for products programs and treatments I will do this in conjunction with the Wellness Director I will ensure to provide consultation specialized treatments and prescription of programs medicines and products to the guests when required Financial Performance In this role I will instil a revenue-focused philosophy through training and education so that all hosts are fully engaged with driving revenue opportunities Payroll costs will be minimized by maximizing the productivity and efficient scheduling of hosts My department s operational budget will be strictly adhered to and all costs will be continually monitored and controlled to drive profitability while taking into consideration the preservation of required standards with every decision made Forecasting is undertaken on a daily weekly monthly quarterly and annual basis to ensure budgets are met and exceeded General In this role I will behave in a professional manner and set an example to all I will abide by Six Senses loyal team Skills and Experience To execute the position of Wellness Consultant I confirm that I have the required qualifications technical skills and at least five years experience in a similar or greater role in luxury wellness resorts spas and health clubs with proven results I have studied Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery and have broad knowledge on anatomy physiology Keraleeya Panchakarma and other therapies I am a personally involved visible and proactive host with excellent organizational skills I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer and I have experience and I can work in a cross-cultural setting positively Technical skills include MS Office - Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook I have an excellent command of written and spoken English and some knowledge of the local language and customs I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines rules and regulations brand and operating standards facilities and services
