Job Opening: Senior Civil Engineer (Building Construction)

Location: Jhansi & Jabalpur (Frequent travel between project sites required)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Civil Engineer to lead the execution of residential, commercial, and government building projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing site execution, quality, planning, contractor coordination, and timely project completion while ensuring adherence to safety and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end execution of building construction projects.
- Plan, monitor, and control daily site activities to achieve project milestones.
- Supervise RCC works, masonry, finishing, waterproofing, and all structural and architectural activities.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure construction is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review and approve bar bending schedules, shuttering, concreting, and material requirements.
- Monitor project schedules and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and material consumption.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain project documentation, daily progress reports, and quality records.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff.




- Participate in client meetings and provide technical solutions during execution.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Experience in government, institutional, commercial, or residential building works will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing works, and building construction methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, quality control procedures, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and construction planning tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

- Must possess a valid four-wheeler driving licence and own a four-wheeler.
- Willingness to travel extensively and stay at project locations as required.
- Vehicle-related reimbursements will be provided as per company policy.
