Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including importers/exporters
- Promote services such as air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service contracts
- Negotiate rates with clients and coordinate with operations/pricing teams
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and payments

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales
- Strong knowledge of international shipping,



Incoterms, and customs procedures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

- Existing client base or industry contacts
- Experience with air and ocean freight pricing
- Knowledge of local and international trade regulations

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- New business revenue generated
- Number of new clients acquired
- Customer retention rate
- Shipment volume (TEUs / tonnage)
- Profit margins per shipment

Work Environment

- Office-based with regular client visits
- May require travel for client meetings and business development

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹29,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
