Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Python, and SQL to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building cloud-native data pipelines, implementing modern data architectures, and delivering high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions.
- Design and implement Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and distributed data storage architectures.
- Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from databases, APIs, and streaming platforms.
- Optimize data storage and processing through partitioning, indexing, compression, and query tuning.
- Monitor data pipelines and system performance while performing root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Implement automated data quality checks using CloudDQ, PyDeequ, or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze,



and document technical and functional requirements.
- Mentor junior data engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Ensure data reliability, scalability, security, and performance across cloud environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Extensive experience with BigQuery.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization.
- Experience building cloud-native data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design.
- Experience with ETL/ELT development and multi-source data integration.
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks such as CloudDQ, PyDeequ, or similar tools.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Google Cloud Dataplex.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms.
- Knowledge of performance optimization and distributed data processing.

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
