Manager, Legal - Business

## About the Role
To enable business growth by providing proactive, solution-oriented legal support for lending transactions, partnerships, and commercial arrangements, ensuring legal robustness while maintaining speed and flexibility.

## Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, term sheets, and financing documents for agri/MSME lending.
- Structure secured/unsecured transactions, including warehouse finance, FPO lending, and value-chain financing.
- Provide legal inputs for new product development, partnerships, and fintech collaborations.
- Vet and standardize commercial contracts such as vendor, service, and distribution agreements.
- Support business teams in deal closure, documentation, and execution readiness.
- Identify legal risks in proposals and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Drive documentation standardization and improve turnaround time.
- Collaborate with credit, risk, and operations teams.

## Requirements

- Education: LL.B (mandatory),



LL.M preferred.
- Specialization: Corporate/commercial or banking law preferred.
- Experience: 6-10 years of experience in NBFCs, banks, agri-finance, or reputed law firms; exposure to structured lending, MSME, or the agri ecosystem is preferred.
- Skills: Contract drafting and negotiation expertise; strong understanding of lending structures and security documentation; commercial mindset with business partnering ability; risk assessment and problem-solving; stakeholder management and collaboration; ability to operate in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
