PLSQL Developer Chennai · Full time · Hybrid

About the Role The PLSQL Developer role involves Oracle database development and administration, with a focus on complex data processing solutions, performance tuning, and data modeling. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases and expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database internals. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to lead the design and development of complex PL/SQL code and data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and administer Oracle databases with a focus on high availability, disaster recovery, and proactive monitoring.
- Design and implement complex PL/SQL code, stored procedures, and overall data architecture.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of NoSQL database solutions, providing architectural guidance on their use cases.
- Define and implement data quality frameworks and strategies.
- Establish code quality standards and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement database versioning and deployment automation using tools like Liquibase.
- Design and implement robust backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions for critical database systems.




- Mentor junior and mid-level team members on database best practices.
- Architect complex data processing solutions using Oracle database internals.
- Implement advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.

Requirements

- Have significant experience in Oracle database development and administration.
- Possess strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database internals.
- Have expertise in data modeling for large-scale applications and experience leading schema design.
- Have expertise in advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Have extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Have strong hands-on experience with database monitoring tools and tuning methodologies.
- Have experience defining and implementing data quality frameworks and strategies.
- Have experience with database versioning and deployment automation.
