Key Job Responsibilities of a Furniture Quality Controller 1 Inspection Quality Checks Inspect raw materials wood fabric foam hardware etc for defects or inconsistencies Conduct in-process inspections during manufacturing to ensure proper assembly and craftsmanship Perform final inspections on finished furniture products to ensure quality durability and aesthetics 2 Quality Standards Compliance Ensure all furniture meets company and or client specifications quality standards and safety regulations e g ISO standards Verify that measurements joinery finishing and other details match design drawings spec sheets 3 Testing Conduct physical tests e g load tests stability tests surface finish tests Identify structural weaknesses or product issues through stress testing and visual examination 4 Documentation Reporting Record inspection findings and maintain quality records Prepare reports on defects rejections and overall quality performance Report recurring issues to the production team or management 5 Process Improvement Recommend improvements to manufacturing or assembly processes to reduce defects Provide feedback to design and production teams to improve product quality and consistency 6 Team Coordination Work closely with production design and warehouse teams to ensure seamless quality control Train or guide production staff on quality standards and best practices 7 Client Requirements Custom Orders Verify that custom-made furniture meets client specifications and expectations Ensure packaging is secure and meets quality standards to prevent damage during shipping Job Type Full time Pay 25 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Ability to commute relocate Mundka Delhi Delhi Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Experience total 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
