Job Summary The Legal Associate supports the legal team by conducting legal research drafting and reviewing documents managing cases and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations The role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple legal matters efficiently Key Responsibilities Legal Research Drafting Conduct legal research on statutes regulations case laws and legal precedents Draft review and vet contracts agreements notices pleadings and legal opinions Assist in preparing case briefs summaries and legal documentation Litigation Case Management Assist in handling litigation matters and coordinating with external counsel Prepare case files affidavits applications and written submissions Track case status hearings and deadlines Corporate Compliance Support Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations and internal policies Assist in corporate filings licenses registrations and statutory documentation Support internal audits and compliance reviews Client Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with clients courts government authorities and internal stakeholders Respond to legal queries from internal departments Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information Administrative Support Maintain legal records case databases and documentation Support senior lawyers with administrative and coordination tasks Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Law LLB from a recognized institution Enrollment with the relevant Bar Council where applicable Skills Competencies Robust legal research and drafting skills Knowledge of applicable laws and legal procedures Attention to detail and analytical thinking Effective written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office Preferred Optional Experience in corporate law litigation contracts or compliance Familiarity with court procedures and filings Prior law firm or in-house legal experience Job Type Full-time Pay From 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
