Sr Specialist - Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer We are seeking an accomplished Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Architect with at least 8 years of progressive experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and architecture In this pivotal role you will lead the design architecture optimization and operational excellence of our Azure infrastructure and cloud services The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to drive automation enable transformation at scale and set best-in-class practices for cloud operations Expertise in Azure Cloud IaaS PaaS SaaS Terraform IaC and Linux VM management RHEL Rocky CentOS Ubuntu is absolutely required Strong Bash scripting for troubleshooting and automation is also essential Responsibilities Lead the architecture design and implementation of complex Azure cloud solutions ensuring scalability security and performance Serve as a technical expert and mentor for cloud engineering teams Review designs provide guidance on cloud best practices and ensure architectural consistency across projects Oversee and execute large-scale provisioning deployment and management of Azure infrastructure using Terraform across multi-environment landscapes Drive the operational excellence for Azure services including VM AKS App Services and containerized workloads Lead maintenance upgrades and patching strategies Architect configure and audit Azure networking including Private Link VNets NSGs Load Balancers Gateways APIM ExpressRoute Bastion and related services Champion automation for infrastructure and application management using modular Bash and Python scripts Design and maintain robust CI CD pipelines via Azure DevOps and GitHub Guide the adoption and management of Docker and Kubernetes AKS ensuring enterprise-grade reliability and security Troubleshoot complex Data pipelines involving both PaaS EventHub Databricks ADF Redis Cosmos DB Postgres MySQL VM based FOSS clusters Apache Kafka Spark Storm Establish monitoring alerting and optimization practices using Azure Monitor Log Analytics and other observability tools for proactive system health and performance management Lead security initiatives enforce compliance with data protection policies and implement OAUTH RBAC certificate-based and PKI-based security frameworks Oversee incident response root cause analysis and lead troubleshooting for critical production issues Participate in executive-level on-call rotations as necessary Evaluate emerging Azure technologies and industry trends recommending improvements to tools processes and architectures for maximum efficiency and innovation Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align cloud strategies with organizational goals and deliver executive-level reporting on cloud initiatives Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science IT Computer applications Engineering or a related field or equivalent skilled experience Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with at least 5 years in Azure-focused architecture and operations Required Skills Deep expertise in architecting deploying and managing enterprise-scale Azure environments IaaS PaaS SaaS Extensive experience with Azure networking security storage and identity management Advanced proficiency in developing and managing infrastructure as code for complex multi-region Azure environments Mastery of Linux systems administration and troubleshooting RHEL Rocky CentOS Ubuntu Advanced scripting with Bash and optionally Python awk sed for automation and diagnostics Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps Git and CI CD pipeline design and management In-depth experience with Docker and Kubernetes AKS in production environments Strong background in cloud security certificate management and compliance frameworks Demonstrated experience mentoring teams leading technical initiatives and driving cross-functional collaboration Expert knowledge in troubleshooting PaaS services such as Redis EventHub AppService VMSS DevOps Agents MySQL Postgres Databricks VM based open-source software like Kafka Spark Storm etc Exceptional analytical troubleshooting and incident management skills Good understanding of open telemetry distributed tracing DORA and SRE principles Outstanding ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Desired Skills Professional certifications in Azure AZ-305 -
