Profile : Import Pricing - Air & Sea

Location : Chandivali

Job Responsibility :

Negotiate freight rates with carriers, shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents for Ocean & Air (Import, FCL/LCL) to obtain the best competitive rates with sufficient margins, ensure space and equipment availability, and resolve space/equipment issues.

Act as a single point of contact for customers and overseas agents for pricing, quotations, and shipment coordination; manage and negotiate pricing for all shipments while ensuring zero operational or coordination failures.

Analyse RFQs and pricing inquiries from customers and sales teams, conduct pricing analysis and cost modelling, and provide competitive, profitable, and economically viable pricing solutions within agreed timelines, ensuring proper follow-up for quick conversion.

Develop, interpret, and maintain overseas partner and customer rate agreements, SOPs, customer profiles, contract rates, preferred routings, carriers, and services, ensuring compliance with customs clearance, documentation requirements, INCOTERMS, EXIM policies, and Indian customs procedures.

Oversee job costing, shipment status updates, revisions,



and verification of freight rates and invoices; conduct audits of vendor invoices against negotiated rates and routing accuracy, assist in resolving disputed charges, and ensure company profitability.

Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to gather market intelligence, analyse market trends, competitive landscape, tariffs, regulations, and customer requirements to develop and implement regional pricing strategies, policies, and procedures.

Support preparation of pricing proposals, bids, and current business opportunities; assist in pricing negotiations with customers and vendors to secure profitable contracts and long-term business relationships.

Maintain accurate pricing databases, records of customer interactions and transactions in company systems, monitor pricing performance, generate regular reports and recommendations for management, and provide pricing-related training and support to sales teams.

Ensure all quotations are approved by customers/agents, properly documented, KYC compliance is obtained for all customers, and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
