Role Overview:

- - The Assistant Manager – Product Trainer plays a strategic role in building product expertise across the organization by designing, delivering, and continuously enhancing product training programs.
- This position is responsible for ensuring that employees develop a deep understanding of product features, functionalities, and customer use cases, enabling them to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business objectives.
- The role also contributes to training strategy, stakeholder alignment, and continuous capability development within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Strategy & Delivery

- - Design and deliver structured product training programs for new hires, tenured employees, and cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate engaging training sessions through classroom, virtual, and on-the-job methods.
- Drive training effectiveness by ensuring alignment with business goals and performance expectations.
- Ensure all trainees achieve defined product knowledge and performance benchmarks.

2. Content Development & Knowledge Management

- - Develop and maintain high-quality training materials including SOPs, manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and assessments.
- Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with latest product updates and business needs.
- Standardize training documentation and create scalable learning solutions.

3. Product Expertise & Business Alignment

- - Build and maintain deep domain expertise across product lines, features, enhancements, and customer journeys.
- Collaborate with Product, Quality, and Operations teams to incorporate business insights into training programs.
- Lead new product launch trainings and periodic refresher sessions.

4. Performance Management & Analytics

- - Evaluate learning outcomes through assessments, certifications, and role-play exercises.
- Analyze training effectiveness using performance metrics and data insights.
- Identify skill gaps and implement targeted learning interventions.
- Publish regular reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

5. Stakeholder Management





- - Partner with Operations, Quality, Product, and Leadership teams to align training initiatives with business priorities.
- Participate in calibration sessions, audits, and reviews to improve training outcomes.
- Act as a consultative partner in driving product knowledge excellence.

6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

- - Continuously enhance training methodologies using modern learning techniques and digital tools.
- Drive initiatives for learning engagement, retention, and scalability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging training technologies.

7. Required Skills & Competencies

- - Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical/product concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and learning tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data.
- Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- High level of ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving ability.

Qualifications & Experience:

- - B. Tech / Engineering Graduate (Preferred: Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Construction).
- 8–10 years of experience in product training, process training, or technical service roles.
- Prior experience in contact center, technical support, or product-based environments is preferred.

- Requires 6-day work week with rotational weekly offs.
- Role operates in a 24/7 environment, requiring flexibility for:
- Early morning / late evening shifts
- Weekend and holiday coverage
- Occasional overtime based on business needs

Organizational Relationships

- - Regular interaction with cross-functional stakeholders across Kohler business verticals.
- Frequent engagement with internal leadership teams to align on training strategy and outcomes.
