We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in the trading and retail industry The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records preparing reports managing tax compliance and supporting daily accounting operations Key Responsibilities Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies Manage accounts payable and receivable processes Prepare GST TDS and other statutory filings Generate monthly quarterly and annual financial reports Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Support inventory valuation and costing in coordination with the store and warehouse team Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities Monitor cash flow and prepare MIS reports for management Requirements Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field Preferred Qualifications Experience in inventory-based accounting Working knowledge of ERP systems Fluent in English and Local Language e g Malayalam Hindi - if relevant Minimum 1 year of accounting experience preferably in trading or retail Proficiency in accounting software e g Tally ERP QuickBooks Zoho Books Strong understanding of GST TDS and other Indian tax regulations Excellent Excel and analytical skills High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 12 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Advantages Paid sick time Work Location In person
