MIG Welder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding on metal components, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring all fabricated products meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on steel, stainless steel, and other metals.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning materials before welding.
- Set up and operate MIG welding machines and related fabrication equipment.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications.
- Repair defective welds and perform rework as required.
- Maintain welding equipment and report any maintenance requirements.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet production targets.

Required Qualifications

- ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Welding, Fabrication, or a related trade.
- 1–5 years of experience in MIG welding (experience requirement may vary by role).




- Knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Physically fit to perform welding and material handling tasks.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in manufacturing or fabrication industries.
- Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection methods.
- Familiarity with grinding, cutting, and fabrication tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of 5S and workplace safety practices.

Working Conditions

- Factory or workshop environment.
- Standing for extended periods and lifting materials as required.
- Exposure to heat, sparks, noise, and welding fumes while following safety protocols.
- May require shift work and overtime based on production needs.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
