To ensure the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical systems in the manufacturing plant by assembling installing maintaining and repairing equipment in accordance with production requirements and safety standards Key Responsibilities 1 Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications for mechanical assemblies 2 Assemble and install machinery and mechanical components on the production line 3 Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment and systems 4 Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs or replacements of defective parts 5 Ensure proper alignment fitting and testing of machine components 6 Operate workshop tools and machinery including drills grinders presses and lathes 7 Assist in machine upgrades modifications or overhauls as per engineering instructions 8 Maintain maintenance logs and records of repair and service activities 9 Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the plant 10 Coordinate with the production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency Required Skills Qualifications 1 ITI Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Fitter Trade Certification 2 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing industrial environment 3 Good knowledge of mechanical systems bearings shafts gearboxes pneumatics and hydraulics 4 Ability to read engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions 5 Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices 6 Understanding of welding and fabrication added advantage 7 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 8 Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing setting 9 Must be experienced in Heavy Fabrication manufacturing Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Advantages Leave encashment Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Morning shift Rotational shift Work Location In person Expected Start Date 01 08 2025
