Sr Data Analyst Bangalore India Data Management 315217 About The Role Grade Level for internal use 10Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Operations Specialist with a minimum of 5 years in oil and gas operations The ideal candidate will be well-versed in industry terminology and able to collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore teams This role requires a proactive approach to managing operations ensuring data quality and providing exceptional client support Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the manager to understand leadership priorities and align operational plans accordingly Work with the Data Transformation team to enhance data quality by providing technical oversight on data entered by vendor partners Develop a strong understanding of Service Level Agreements SLAs and metrics ensuring quality control and operational oversight of vendor operations Address client issues on a daily basis providing timely resolutions and participating in client calls Serve as the subject matter expert SME for oil and gas operations becoming the Go-To person for relevant states Build expertise in S P Global s internal systems and processes as well as client-facing products related to US wells and production Familiarity with SQL and process automation is a plus Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas operations Strong understanding of oil and gas terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Background in SQL and process automation is advantageous
