Role Summary The Quantity Surveyor Civil is responsible for managing project cost estimation quantity take-offs BOQ preparation rate analysis billing and cost control for civil construction projects The role ensures effective financial and contractual management throughout the project lifecycle Key Responsibilities1 Quantity Take-Off Estimation Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings architectural structural and services Prepare BOQs cost estimates and rate analysis for civil works Assist in tender preparation and technical commercial submissions 2 Cost Control Budgeting Prepare project budgets and track actual costs vs budgeted Monitor material consumption and labor productivity Identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate variations 3 Billing Documentation Prepare and verify RA bills contractor vendor bills and client billing Maintain measurement books quantity sheets and supporting documents Reconcile quantities with contractors and ensure accuracy 4 Contract Vendor Management Review contract conditions technical specifications and drawings Support in negotiation with contractors subcontractors Verify claims variations and extras based on site conditions 5 Coordination Reporting Liaise with site engineers planning procurement and accounts teams Conduct site visits for measurement verification Prepare MIS reports cash-flow forecasts and cost reports for management Qualifications Diploma BE B Tech in Civil Engineering 3-10 years of experience in quantity surveying estimation billing or contracts Customizable Key Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of quantity take-off BOQ preparation and rate analysis Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Excel MS Project and QS software Thorough understanding of civil construction materials methods and standards Positive negotiation analytical and documentation skills Familiarity with contract standards FIDIC CPWD etc is an advantage Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Work Location In person
