Education: B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical

EXPERIENCE: 2–6 years in Engineering Company

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Supervision of press shop processes.
- Ensure quality of work with safety & efficiency.
- Ensure use of correct material, processes and optimal utilization of man, machine, and materials.
- Knowledge of operation of CNC machines like Plasma, Fiber laser, Turret punching, Press Brake, shearing etc.
- Knowledge of Mechanical power presses & hydraulic presses.
- Constantly work to improve sheet metal processes, reduce costs & labour.
- Resources scheduling to ensure production plans are achieved.
- Maintain status of components manufactured on daily basis.
- Follow all environmental,



health & safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working workplace for yourself and across the paint shop.
- Ensure day-to-day communication with internal contractors to achieve planned production.
- Coordinate with internal departments, to ensure seamless workflow of material for press shop processes.
- Initiate Kaizen & 5S activities on shop floor.
- Keep track of inventory of input material and consumables. Coordinate with PPC for timely requisition.
- Maintain & update all the relevant BMS documents.
- Regular consumption of materials in ERP.
- Implementation of improvement methodologies like Kaizen and 5S.
