- Lead end-to-end forensic investigations into suspected policy deviations, asset theft, and embezzlement.
- Manage whistle blower inquiries and management-requested fraud reviews professionally and discreetly.
- Analyze complex corporate data sets to uncover transactional anomalies and hidden patterns.
- Conduct professional interviews with employees, vendors, and stakeholders to gather critical evidence.
2. Evidence Management & Legal Support
- Preserve a strict chain of custody for electronic records and hardcopy documentation.
- Collaborate closely with legal counsels, law enforcement, and compliance teams.
- Provide comprehensive litigation support, serving as an expert witness in court hearings when required.
- Liaise with external specialists, regulators, and third-party forensic consultants.
3. Risk Mitigation & Governance
- Build organizational fraud risk registers to proactively evaluate structural vulnerabilities.
- Recommend robust internal control updates to fix the root causes of discovered frauds.
- Review contractual adherence across procurement protocols, vendor ecosystems, and billing SLAs.
- Deliver anti-fraud training programs to staff to heighten cross-departmental risk awareness.
4. Team Leadership & Reporting
- Direct a team of forensic accountants, assigning investigative portfolios and reviewing working papers.
- Draft detailed forensic audit reports containing quantifiable data impacts and corrective actions.
- Present high-stakes findings directly to executive leadership and the Board Audit Committee.
- Oversee project budgets and timelines for ongoing active client engagements.
Required Qualifications & Education
- Academic Degree: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Forensic Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Professional Certifications: Mandatory credentials such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Specialized Certifications: Certified Forensic Accountant (CFA) or specialized digital forensics qualifications are highly favoured
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
