Job Summary The Junior Engineer in the Maintenance Department will assist in ensuring smooth operation and upkeep of all plant equipment and machinery The role involves performing routine inspections minor repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency Key Responsibilities 1 Assist in routine inspection maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment 2 Support senior engineers in troubleshooting mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues 3 Ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance schedules 4 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities work orders and inventory of spare parts 5 Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production processes 6 Identify potential operational issues and suggest improvements 7 Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times Qualifications Skills Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial Engineering Basic knowledge of machinery pumps motors and other industrial equipment Ability to read technical drawings and manuals Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work in shifts or on-call for emergency maintenance if required Experience Fresher with relevant internship experience or 0-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred Reporting Reports to the Senior Engineer Maintenance Manager Work Environment Industrial manufacturing plant adherence to safety standards and use of personal protective equipment PPE is mandatory Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Perks Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Education Bachelor s Preferred Work Location In person
